Monday 8th July,2013……Our Medical Assistance programme for newborns “Medicaid” started off on Monday with a donation of an emergency assistance pack to the Tamale Teaching Hospital NICU. The items included a Glucometer,Nasogastric tubes and some emergency drugs such as phenobarbital.The idea is to limit the time taken before emergency interventions are made in situations where supplies may fall short.With effective management,it is our hope that this can be recycled(through timely replacement by beneficiaries) to help as many babies as possible.
