We are looking at expanding our call network across the whole of Ghana.Though we have not being able to reach the Upper West and Brong Ahafo regions yet as planned, we made some positive strides in the past week.

We are grateful to Dr Gyikua Plange-Rhule,Dr Priscilla Wobil and Madam Rose(SNO at KATH) for their support in getting KATH on board. They have also offered to help with initial contacts to major facilities in the Greater Accra region.

We are also happy to announce the enrolment of one more volunteer Dr Yaw Asamoa Mensa-Bonsu on to our list of volunteers to help our level 2 facilities.

Sometimes all it takes it a little money to make a baby smile. Our attention was drawn to the plight of a baby whose mother has ran away and left her. This mother was in the queue with other patients and then pleaded with another patient to take care of this barely 4 week old baby while she left to use the washroom. Till date she has not returned to see her baby.She simply absconded! No trace. We are grateful to have chanced on a conversation between a good Samaritan and Nutritionist looking for ways to feed this baby. We could not turn away from lending a hand. All this baby needed was just a little under GH¢30($10). Grateful to Mr Anders Olsson for the support.

What Next? We are looking to partner with agencies such as Tigo and the Little Steps Foundation at KATH to make even more impact.
