Child safety campaign in the Volta Region.
Safe Child Ghana in collaboration with the Ghana Pharmacy Student’s Association (GPSA) and supported by the Pharmacy Council, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Women & Children Affairs, World Vision Ghana, the Food & Drugs Board, and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana embarks on “Child Safety Education” in the Volta Region of Ghana from 13 – 23 July, 2011.
We will visit 14 districts, out of the 18 in the Region. The target groups are both children and adults.
Our activities in this campaign will include safety education on radio, and will also be covering schools, markets and homes.
We are targeting to reach not less than 50,000 people in this campaign. More volunteers will be used to achieve this target, with the idea to instill volunteerism in the Ghanaian youths.
