Boy 13 Shot Dead By Colleague.
The entire community of Kpogazi in the Adaklu District of the Volta Region was thrown into a state of despair when a thirteen (13) year old boy was shot dead by his fifteen (15) year old close friend on Saturday morning.
The victim Kumah Azaglo, a former pupil of Kpogazi Salvation Army School died on admission at the Volta Region Hospital later in the day. According to an uncle of the deceased, Mr. John Ahiawofli, who disclosed the news on Monday, the victim and his close friend were together in a room when the suspect took possession of a riffle belonging to his (suspect) father who is a known hunter in the community. The suspect, according to the uncle found the riffle unloaded but searched the room and got one bullet and loaded it and shot his friend in the stomach.
Eye witnesses who rushed to the scene after hearing the gun shot narrated how the deceased was found in a pool of blood with his internal organs coming out after the incident. They reportedly quickly rushed him to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The remains of the slain boy has been sent to the morgue.
The Ho Central Police have however picked up the suspect and his father for further investigations.
